New Delhi: Rajasthan Police raided a farm house late on Sunday night near the holy city of Pushkar and detained 37 people including 25 foreigners for allegedly arranging a rave party.
Police say narcotic drugs and liquor bottles were recovered from the place. The farmhouse where the party was organised on World Tourism Day is at Bhawanipur village around 15 kms away from Pushkar in Ajmer district.
Police say the government would ask the foreigners,who are are from Israel, Britain, Germany and some other European countries, including women to leave the country.
The rave party organiser, Hemant Parashar and the owner of the farm house SN Garg, have been arrested under two cases of excise and NDPS Act.
Additional SP Rural Ajmer Rajesh Meena said cases have been registered against them in Pushkar Police Station.
Meena also said police have informed the Embassies after checking the passport of the foreigners.
