Jaipur: Vasundhara Raje, who was the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for 5 years till 2008, may become Bharatiya Janata Party's president in the state. She is likely to lead the party in Assembly polls that are slated for later in 2013.
Raje met senior party leaders in Delhi on Tuesday. The party may make a formal announcement after its core group meeting on Thursday.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) man and former Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria will be the leader of Opposition in the State Assembly.
