Mumbai: Yesteryears' superstar Rajesh Khanna who was admitted to a hospital here two weeks ago has been discharged, his wife Dimple Kapadia informed.
"Khanna is back home. He was discharged yesterday (Saturday). He is absolutely fine now," Dimple told IANS.
The 69-year-old actor, fondly called 'Kaka', was admitted to Lilawati hospital June 23. His estranged wife actress has been by his side ever since.
Khanna was accompanied by wife and daughter Rinki Khanna when he was being discharged. The actor has been battling health issues for quite some time. In April, he was admitted to the hospital after he complained of weakness, but was discharged in three to four days.
Bollywood's first superstar Rajesh Khanna has been a part of the film industry for over four decades and has given hit films like 'Aradhana', 'Safar', 'Kati Patang' and 'Anand'.
