Click to play videoMumbai: The team of Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani is leaving no stone unturned to promote their upcoming romantic comedy, releasing this Friday. The cast and director was at a local radio station in Mumbai for the promotion of the film, where they spoke about the possibility of a sequel.
"I had written a serious love story, I wanted to make a love story and they made it into a comedy. I had no intentions of making it a comedy, and they made it into one. It is the truth," joked director Raj Kumar Santoshi.
Going by the promos, the film seems like quite a laugh riot, considering it's coming from a man who made Andaz Apna Apna, and Katrina already has post-success plans in place.
"If by god willing Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani is a hit then I've made a promise that I'll go to two cinema halls, in Mumbai and distribute vanilla ice-cream to people watching the movie," said Katrina.
"The reason being, when Prem (played by Ranbir) sees Jenny (played by Katrina) for the first time he calls her vanilla ice-cream," clarified Ranbir.
And there are also talks of a sequel if the movie does well.
"If Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani is a hit inshallah (god willing), we will make part two. But the sequel's title will be Ajab Jenny Ki Gazab Kahani," said Katrina.
Well, here's hoping that for now part one gets a good opening when the film hits the screen on Friday.
