Click to play videoMumbai: Re-instated Congress minister Narayan Rane was given a big welcome by supporters at the Mumbai airport on Wednesday night.
He had returned from Delhi, after meeting Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. Hundreds of supporters gathered at the airport were cheering his return to the party's fold.
"I am grateful that Sonia Ji has revoked my suspension. I will be assigned duties in a few days and then get back to work," says Narayan Rane.
Rane had been suspended late last year after his outburst against the Congress leadership, on not being given the post of Maharashtra's chief minister.
His suspension was revoked a couple of days back, after which he met Sonia Gandhi in Delhi.
