Mumbai: Flaying Shiv Sena over its support to Pranab Mukherjee as a Presidential candidate, Swabhimaan Sanghatana chief Nitesh Rane claimed that the Bal Thackeray-led party was struggling to exist.
"They have always criticised UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and the Gandhi family", said Nitesh.
"We can understand their support to Pratibha Patil as it was related to the Marathi issue. But do they have the right to make any allegations against Congress in future (after supporting Mukherjee)", said Nitesh.

Hitting out at the Shiv Sena, Nitesh Rane said that the Bal Thackeray-led party was even struggling to exist.
His father, Congress leader and state minister Narayan Rane, was once in Shiv Sena, before quitting it and turning into its bitter foe.
Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray has extended support to Mukherjee for the top Constitutional post, and appealed for a unanimous support to the veteran Congressman.
"They are going through a pitiable phase and in order to show that they exist, they keep doing such things", Nitesh asserted.
