Mumbai: Rani Mukherji may have been away from the media glare for sometime now but the actress chose International Women's Day to step out.
Rani Mukherjee met a few of her female fans as she interacted with women from the Stree Shakti Kendra and women achievers from the Indian Merchant Chambers Ladies Wing. The actress had a couple of wise words to share.
“I would like to tell a lot of people that education is so important that if you aren't educated you can be subjected to so many harsh things. But if you are educated, and if you give importance to education nothing wrong can happen to you,” Rani said at the event.
The actress who seemed to be in a hurry was ready with a message fit for the occasion.
"Respect the lady. Respect the lady next to you. Respect and love them for who they are. Believe in what they believe in and accept them the way they are," the actor said.
