Jammu and Kashmir entered the Ranji Trophy quarters for the first time since 2000.
It was a big day for Jammu and Kashmir cricket as they earned three points against Tripura to enter the Ranji Trophy quarters for the first time since 2000. J and K will take on Punjab at the Motibaug Stadium in Baroda.
In another match, Karnataka defeated Delhi by eight wickets to seal their place in the last eight. They will play against Uttar Pradesh at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The spin duo of Iqbal Abdulla and Vishal Dabholkar shared nine wickets between them as Mumbai registered a 27-run victory over Gujarat to sail into the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals. Mumbai will face Maharashtra in at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Bengal, who defeated Tamil Nadu by four runs in a close encounter, will play against Railways in the quarter-final match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The quarter-final draw for the Ranji Trophy 2013-14, to be played from 8 January 2014 to 12 January 2014, is as follows:
1. Mumbai v Maharashtra - Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
2. Bengal v Railways - Eden Gardens, Kolkata
3. Karnataka v Uttar Pradesh - M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
4. Punjab v J and K - Motibaug, Baroda
The semi-finals will be played from 18 January 2014 to 22 January 2014. The winners of games 1 and 2 will play the semi-final at the Holkar Stadium, Indore. The winners of games 3 and 4 will play the semi-final at the PCA Stadium, Mohali.
The Final will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad, from 29 January 2014 to 2 February 2014.
