Thiruvananthapuram: Rape convict Bitti Mohanty will be taken by the Rajasthan Police back to Rajasthan on Tuesday. Mohanty was sent to 10-day police custody on Monday. He had jumped parole in 2006 while serving a seven-year sentence in Alwar in Rajasthan on charges of raping a German tourist.
Bitti was living in Kerala as 'Raghav Raj' and had secured a job in a public sector bank.
Son of former Odisha DGP BB Mahanti - Bitti has been charged with cheating, forgery and impersonation.
