New Delhi: The new Harry Potter movie will release in India on Friday. And if you are excited like the rest of the world, but have forgotten the plot so far, here is a crash course for you!

Young orphan Harry Potter, treated miserably by his aunt, uncle and fat cousin, has his world turned around when he discovers he is a wizard, and not just any wizard. He was responsible as a baby for the death of Lord Voldemort - the most feared dark wizard of all time.

Harry Potter joins the boarding school Hogwarts, makes two great friends, Ron and Hermione and becomes a protégé of sorts to headmaster Albus Dumbledore, the kind-hearted giant Hagrid, Professor McGonagall, his parents' friend and his godfather Sirius Black - who unfortunately also leaves him, bereft, killed in an intense battle.

In the latest edition Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, you will learn more about Voldemort as a boy, Quidditch - the game Harry's brilliant at - and also, his young rival Draco Malfoy.

The movie has got it all - magic, mystery, romance, danger, and a teenage universe where friendship counts for everything - even with a war going on, against the dark side.

But what it's all going to end is in the final book or two-part movie, The Deathly Hallows. For now, you can read the famous book - it sold 9 million copies within 24 hours of its release four years ago. And wherever you are, Harry Potter speaks your language as the book has been translated into 67 languages.
