Madrid: Real Madrid defender Pepe has returned to the team in time for their Champions League game against Manchester United after a five-week injury absence.
Pepe made Real's squad for their Spanish league game against Sevilla on Saturday after recovering from surgery on his right ankle on Jan. 2.
Real host United on Wednesday in the first leg of their round-of-16 series.
Real center back Sergio Ramos also recently returned from a five-game suspension.
