Click to play videoMumbai: Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar now wants to be a soldier of the earth. The actor has joined the campaign to save planet earth and has conceptualized a comic book to make children environment conscious.
Published by The Energy and Resources Institute or TERI the comic book titled Tronomega to Earth was launched on Friday evening in Mumbai.
At the event Akshay shared the measures he has taken to be eco friendly and also came up with some radical ideas to solve the problem of air pollution due to increasing traffic.
"Every time you have to buy a new car it should be a rule to buy an old one, crush that and use its number plate, that way you have an old car removed and the number of cars will remain the same," says Akshay Kumar.
However, Akshay himself owns a couple of them.
"I have 3 no 4 cars, coz I have my mom, my sis, my niece, so it’s like a joint family, and we have 2 cycles to go get veggies," adds Akshay.
Akshay's story idea for the comic revolves around space aliens who take human form as soldiers of the earth and descend on earth to save penguins from an oil slick. Good idea, but lets hope that Akshay turns a soldier of the earth himself first.
