Recruitment for Infantry Battalion in Bangalore

Bangalore: Recruitment for Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Army will be held on August 21 and 22 in Bangalore. Medically fit candidates in the age group from 18 to 42 with a minimum height, chest and weight of 160 cms, 77 cms and 50 kg respectively and matric passed with 45 per cent marks, are eligible for soldier general duty (available vacancy 21) and for clerk duties, 10 +2 pass with 50 per cent marks are eligible (available vacancy-3).

One vacancy each in house keeper, chef community, washer men, steward and tailor are also available. The candidates must be domicile of Andhra Pradesh / Gujarat / Goa / Karnataka/ Kerala / Maharashtra / Rajasthan / Tamil Nadu / Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli / Daman & Diu / Lakshdweep or Pondicherry. Those who are employed in government / semi-government/ private sector or self-employed are also eligible for the recruitment.

Candidates should report at 106 Infantry Battalion(TA) PARA , Inder Gill Lines, Benson Town -560046 at 6 am on August 21 with original education certificate along with photocopy of the same verified by an education officer/ gazetted officer of their area, 12 copies of passport size photograph, caste certificate, character certificate and ration card or voter identity card.
