Rehman's sister Reihana to compose music for Kannada film

AR Reihana, elder sister of AR Rehman, composes song for Kannada film, 'Mamarada Mane'. Reihana came to Kannada cinema via 'God Father'. In 'God Father', Reihana has scored two fresh tunes and the other four songs were from his Tamil film, 'Varalaru'.

In the past, Reihana has sung two Kannada songs. She now forays as a music director from 'Mamarada Mane' in the Kannada cinema, that held its song recording muhurut on August 30, at Prasad Studio.

"I have started the work at the prestigious place where many legends have scored the music for Kannada film", stated Reihana addressing the media in the Prasad Studio. She also admitted that like many, she got inspired from AR Rehman.

AR Reihana has composed the songs for Kannada film, \'Mamarada Mane\'. She entered Kannada cinema via \'God Father\'.

Reihana's son, GV Prakash is already a famous music director.

Rehiana has scored five songs with the help of arranger Sajid for the film, 'Mamarada Mane', which is produced by S Saraswathi. She has also rendered her voice for producer's Madhu Bangarappa's film, in which Prabhu Deva's brother played a character of the blind, dumb and deaf person.

Sukumaran, who had directed the two Tamil and one Malayalam films, is making debut with 'Mamarada Mane' in Kannada cinema. "The film has enough scope for social issue, revenge, love and romance", says Sukumaran.

Hrudaya Shiva is the lyricist and Madhu is the dialogue writer of the film. Sujay Arya, Mohan Krishna, TT Usha and Swati are in the cast.
