The 18th of May was scheduled to witness at least five releases in Mollywood. ‘Hero’, ‘Thiruvambady Thampaan’, ‘Namukku Parkaan’, ‘Ezham Sooryan’ and ‘Vaadhyar’ were all trying to be on theatres to make the best of the summer holidays. But the latest report says that all these films are now shifted to coming weekends due to unavailability of release centers.
An interesting position that was never witnessed in Mollywood, the problem aroused largely from the good theatre run of a few films, that are yet to clear off the release theatres. 'Mayamohini', ‘Ordianry' and ‘22 Female Kottayam’ are the movies mentioned which still continues in around 100 centers without any big fall in collections. Adding to that are the three big releases last week, which claims another 155 centers, resulting in the non availability of any family centers for new Malayalam releases.
With the expectations that these movies will finally be out of the opening centers by 25th, Deephan's Prithvi starrer 'Hero' and Jayaram's 'Thiruvambaady Thampaan' will now release on that day.

Mega releases of Mollywood which were scheduled to release on May 18 are now shifted to further dates.
