Renault Pulse launched

KOCHI: Renault India Private Limited launched Renault Pulse in Kochi on Tuesday. A premium offering for the compact car segment from Renault India, the car was launched by Renault India Marketing and Sales vice-president Len Curran and TVS Dealership Business president N Krishnamoorthy.
Speaking to the media Len Curran said, “The Pulse is a product designed and developed by our India-based design studio at Mumbai, focusing on the Indian customer’s aspirations, tastes and preferences.” Pulse will be available in two variants with the Renault K9K diesel 1.5 dCi engine: RxL and RxZ. While top variant RxZ offers dual air bag adding to both driver and passenger safety, lock and unlock sensing folding outside rear-view mirrors and automatic climate control, the second variant RxL comes with driver air bag, power steering and front and rear power windows. The price will range between `5.77 lakh and `6.25 lakh.
The Pulse was first launched in India in October 2011, as part of the first Indian Formula One celebrations by F1 drivers Mark Webber and Karun Chandhok.
