Tamil film 'Rendavathu Padam' to hit theaters by August

CS Amudhan created a good impact with his very debut in Kollywood, 'Tamizh Padam', a spoof entertainer. The director is now gearing up with his second, aptly titled, 'Rendavathu Padam'.

He is planning to release the movie in August, sources close to the unit confirm.

Vimal, Aravind Aakash of 'Goa' and 'Mankatha' fame and Ajith's brother-in-law Richard play the lead roles in this movie, to be produced by Dharani under the Screen Care Entertainment banner. Vijayalakshmi is the heroine.

Music for 'Rendavathu Padam' is by Kannan, stunts by Dileep Subbarayan and cinematography by Vijay Ulaganathan. According to the director, "Rendavathu Padam is no spoof. But it will be a laugh riot. A neat comedy entertainer, I am sure that it would be welcomed by one and all."
