London Pakistan Supreme Court has allowed Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to come back. But returning home would be not that easy.

After Thursday's heady Supreme Court verdict allowing him back to the country, an admission from Nawaz Sharif that returning home may not be smooth.

“People of Pakistan want me to come back, Musharraf can 'fabricate;' whatever cases he wants to I am not worried, “ Nawaz said.

Also an acceptance that Pakistan has changed during his seven years in exile whether as a result of the agitation by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary or the storming of the Lal Masjid.

“My priority is only one restoration of rule of law, “ Nawaz added.

Will people want him back? Will he be welcomed? Nawaz Sharif will have to rebuild a party broken by General Musharraf. He also has to reckon with the understanding between the General and Benazir.

The landmark judgement appears to have cleared the way for Nawaz to return to Pakistan after eight long years. But as he is well aware, it's going to be a long and challenging one.
