New Delhi: Much of the movements there has come under pressure from PDP allies of the Congress in Jammu and Kashmir- chief Mufti Mohammad Sayeed saying that the decision will end the PDP's boycott of cabinet meetings in the past weeks.
The Army Chief, General J J Singh also hinted that the time is right for troop reduction on Friday.
Kashmir is stable and non-military solutions can be worked on, says Gen Singh.
He was speaking after taking over as chiarman chiefs of staffs committee from Air Chief Marshal Tyagi, who retires on Saturday.
Says Singh: "To a large extent the level of violence has come down and also people have expressed their views about peace and dialogue in Kashmir."
