RIL goes global, ties up with Yemeni co

New Delhi: Reliance Industries Limited will partner with a Yemeni company to build a 50,000 barrels per day refinery in Yemen.

Yemen's Oil Minsiter, Khalid Mahfoudh Bahah says the deal has been finalised and that it is going to take three years for the construction of the new company.

"Reliance is entering into a partnership with an oil company in Yemen. It's a very famous company in Yemen. They are going to set a new refinery and we are expecting it to be ready in 30 to 36 months. All the agreements have already been signed between the partners and the government of Yemen," says Bahah.
