Click to play videoBangalore: In Bangalore, a robbery case has left the police stunned. The robbers entered a jewellery shop by digging a tunnel under it and ran away with booty worth Rs 1.6 crore.
The incident took place at a very reputed jewellery shop in Bangalore’s Vidyaranyapuram area. The robbery took place while the owners of the shop were having their lunch.
“When they went for the lunch break the robbers broke into the shop through the tunnel and went off with Rs 1.6 cr worth jewellery,” says a police officer.
Police say the robbers had dug the tunnel beforehand. This was something that shop owner Bahubal and his wife would have never expected but for the robbers, who had obviously been planning the heist for long, was just the opportunity they needed.
