Giving them a dream chance is none other than music magazine Rolling Stones and MTV in their newest reality series.
Six aspiring young writers pitting their talents to bag the position of a music editor in a New York magazine – that is what the series I am Rolling Stones is all about.
“We wanted it to be fun and exciting and to be about the world that we live in here at Rolling Stones, which is a world that could include a chance encounter with Axl Rose or an opportunity to say hello to Jay Z or a shot at listening to Beyonce's record with her. That's pretty cool stuff, that's the sexy part,” said Executive Editor of Rolling Stones, Joe Levy.
The contestants have to freelance as interns under Rolling Stones and face intense criticism and competition, but for some of the participants it's a dream come true.
“It was like a three-month job application. There wasn't so much competition. That was the good thing about it. We all had our own thing to do doing our own stories. In the end they were going to choose who fit in most but they gave us so much opportunity it was good,” said a maiden cast member.
The chosen one of this immensely exciting and nerve-wrecking journey will be revealed at the end of the series that will be aired on the International MTV.
