Romans ready for Champions League final

Goal.com

New Delhi: The atmosphere in Rome is heating up for the upcoming Champions League final on Wednesday as Barcelona prepare to clash with current holders Manchester United for Europe's top club trophy.

Supporters have already begun flocking to the Eternal City, as it fills with fans of the English and Spanish giants, surrounded by historic sites such as the Colosseum.

The locals in the area are choosing their side, with many wearing Blaugrana and United kits in the streets.

With the arrival of the two teams at their respective hotels, many will be hoping to catch an autograph or a photo with some of the world's top stars.

Perhaps the best news for the players is that the weather should be cool on Wednesday in Rome, but that is unlikely to dampen the passions of the fans awaiting the high-profile event.
