Others held guilty for th murder of the 29-year-old fashion designer include Sharma's nephew Surinder Mishra, Tejinder Virdi alias Dolly and Hemchand.
The court, however, acquited women accused Jaspreet Virdi alias Sonu for want of evidence. The court will announce the quantum of sentence against Sharma and others on February 18.
Budhiraja had been stabbed to death on March 20, 1999, by a group of hired gangsters from Uttar Pradesh. According to the prosecution, the murder was carried out at the instance of Surinder Mishra, a co-accused and nephew of Sharma.
Mishra had also met Sharma in the jail a day before the incident, the prosecution claimed. The prosecution also claims that there was sufficient evidence to nail him and his associates.
Additional Sessions Judge SP Garg had reserved the verdict in the case on January 30 after the conclusion of final arguments.
The case was heard on Wednesday following which it was deferred for today. Sharma is also facing trial in 16 other cases including intimidation, property-grabbing and cheating.
According to prosecution, he had hatched the conspiracy to kill 29-year-old Budhiraja while he was in Tihar jail.
A chargesheet was filed in this matter on June 16, 1999. During the investigation, it was allegedly found that Surinder Mishra, Dolly and Sonu wanted to get rid of Kunjum as they felt that while they were taking care of Sharma and attending to his court cases, Sharma was giving away his property to Kunjum.
The prosecution said Sharma was also involved in the conspiracy of murdering Kunjum.
