Rustenberg: England striker Wayne Rooney and defender Ashley Cole have resumed full training before the team's second World Cup match against Algeria. Both players were knocking the ball about freely on Tuesday after missing the previous day's session in the wake of the 1-1 draw with Group C rival United States.
Rooney got a kick to the ankle on Saturday, while Cole usually takes an extra day's rest after matches.
Center back Ledley King, whose groin injury is being assessed by medics on a daily basis, missed training as expected.

The Football Association has yet to confirm a scan has taken place on the Tottenham captain — despite it being announced by King's club manager Harry Redknapp amid reports he will be out for three weeks.
