Auto Expo 2012: Royal Enfield launches Thunderbird 500

Royal Enfield launched a 500cc Thunderbird, which is stated to be the ultimate cruiser for India. The bike looks like a sharpened cleaned up version of the old Thunderbird.

Attention to detail is quite good! Also revealed was a new range of accessories for riders, which include jackets boots and more.

Speaking at the launch, Siddhartha Lal MD & CEO of Eicher motors said that Royal Enfield has grown from 50,000 to 73,000 motorcycles last year. The new bike will be on the market by mid 2012.
