New Delhi: A Pune court on Wednesday gave its clearance for a polygraph test on seven policemen in connection with the murder of RTI activist Satish Shetty. Shetty was murdered in 2010 in Pune. Shetty had exposed several land scams using the RTI.

Satish was hacked to death by unidentified men in January 2010 in Talegoan in Maharashtra.

Satish was credited with exposing several land scams in the Talegaon-Lonavala region, a favourite with realtors in the state.

In fact, he shot into fame after exposing corrupt land deals in and around the country's first expressway from Mumbai to Pune over a decade ago.
