S D Burman's wife Meera passes away

New Delhi: Meera Dev Burman, widow of the legendary music director S D Burman passed away in Mumbai on Monday.

85-year old Meera Dev Burman was reportedly staying in an old age home, Sharan, in the Mumbai suburb of Vashi.

An accomplished singer and dancer, she was felicitated by the Tripura government recently on S D Burman's birth anniversary.
