New Delhi: The SAARC Car Rally which is passing through five countries will enter Mumbai on Thursday night.

The rally consisting of 28 cars and around 84 participants has so far covered over 3,500 kilometres and will be welcomed in the city at the historic Gateway of India.

SAARC leaders flagged off the Indian leg of the rally on Monday to coincide with the inauguration of the 14th SAARC summit in the capital.

The car rally had begun in Bangladesh on March 13.

Among the participants in the rally include Bangladeshi silver-screen couple Tony and Priya Dias, Bhutanese Traffic Police head Karma Tshering and Pakistani mediaman Amir Khan and others from different countries in the region.
