Mumbai: Day 4 at fashion week belonged to fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherji whose floral prints and animal motifs in earthy colors took the ramp by storm.
Even as he graciously accepted compliments all evening, the designer revealed this new Fall-Winter collection was born out of confusion more than anything else.
"There is nothing to describe about the collection. You interpret it the way you want to because it came out of confusion and chaos. One sometimes does a collection where one has no idea about where it begins and ends. It was a little seamless and a lot of thought process went into it," says the designer.
Despite this confusion, Sabyasachi managed to get the audience to appreciate the "as green as nature" beauty of his collection.
Beaming in the front row, and cheering for her friend was Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee.
Also stepping up the glam quotient was actress Vidya Balan who rooted for the designer from another front row seat.
