Sabyasachi's wedding line sold out

Mumbai: ‘Sold out’ was the buzz word as designer Sabyasachi Mukerji's wedding collection for the year was launched at Mumbai's Aza store.

Even before you could say the word 'wedding', the clothes were sold out.

"Even before we came in, the collection was sold out,” said model Sheetal Mallar.

"When I walked in, it was all sold out but its okay because I'm not getting married anytime soon,” said model Gauhar Khan.

And as was expected from the designer, he continued his love for the old world charm and you could see that in the lehengas, rich angarkhas and saris borrowing heavily from the Mughal gharana and the Awadhi royalty.

"It is the beginning of the season and I was being calculative enough,” said Sabyasachi.

And we also spotted actress Madhu looking at the clothes with great interest.

"I'm just back from a big holiday and I spent a lot there. So I decided I I will look and not buy but I couldn’t resist,” said Madhu.

And looking at the clothes we had no doubts why she couldn’t resist it!
