Ever since the remake of 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' hit the floors, there was a buzz that S A Chandrasekaran, who helmed the original version, has been 'proxy directing' the remake, in the name of debutant Sneha.
Also, this is said to be one of the reasons behind protagonist Vikram Prabhu reportedly walking out of the project, as he was 'not happy with too much of interference' by SAC.
Breaking his silence on the issue, the veteran director-producer, who is the father of Vijay, says, "Sneha is my granddaughter (his sister's granddaughter). Is there any wrong in guiding her?"
"Also, the film is inspired by my own yesteryear directorial," SAC further said, adding that he is now looking out for a new face to replace Vikram Prabhu. "Because he was busy with the re-shoot of 'Kumki' and we cannot wait," SAC said.
