Sachin Tendulkar's wax statue in Sydney has wrong T-Shirt

The wax statue, which will now be part of Madame Tussauds museum at Darling Harbour, shows Tendulkar raising his bat and helmet in elation on completing a century. It is similar to the one in the London branch of the famous museum.

According to a report in Mid-Day, the wax statue of Sachin Tendulkar that was was unveiled at his favourite overseas cricket venue, the Sydney Cricket Ground, shows Sachin wearing a wrong T-shirt.

In Sydney, Tendulkar will be placed besides Don Bradman and Shane Warne. However, the wax statue has the 2012 ICC World T20 t-shirt, a tournament which Tendulkar was not part of.

The wax statue has the 2012 ICC World T20 t-shirt, a tournament which Tendulkar was not part of.

In fact, the icon has not represented India in any of the four T20 World events. He has played only one T20 international for India - in Johannesburg - on the 2006-07 tour of South Africa.
