Uruguay lead SA 1-0 at half-time

Pretoria: South Africa made only one change to their starting lineup in its second World Cup group game on Wednesday against an Uruguay side fielding three strikers.

Tsepo Masilela lined up at left back instead of Lucas Thwale after having replaced him in the 1-1 draw with Mexico in the competition opener on Friday.

Uruguay, which drew 0-0 with France, fielded Diego Forlan, Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani in their lineup with Forlan expected to play slightly behind the other two.
