Sai Baba turns 82, is still going strong

Bangalore: Sayta Sai Baba turns 82 on Friday and thousands of devotees are heading to Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh to be a part of the celebrations.

And the Godman is still going strong for that matter. However, he has been confined to a wheelchair for over two years now and his failing health has forced him to make fewer public appearances.

Yet, he remains one of the most powerful Godmen in the country. And as in the past, lakhs of devotees still queue up to just catch a glimpse of him.

“He is a living God and till death, he will be my only God,” says a devotee.

“No human being can achieve this much except the incarnation of God,” adds another devotee.

“This is service to humanity irrespective of caste and creed. And that's why he is different from others,” says another devotee.

Sai Baba's health may be failing him but his magic still holds. This Godman still gets the attention of some of the country's leading opinion-makers, heads of states, sportstars and filmstars.
