Mumbai: After Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, it is now Saif Ali Khan who is making his big debut as a producer with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal.
The actor showed up at a city multiplex in Mumbai along with co-star Deepika Padukone and shared his experience of doubling up behind the scenes as a producer on the film.
“It is like a war zone and production is like being at war lets face it,” says Saif.
Though Saif chose Deepika over his more saleable lady love Kareena for his first film as producer, what is really raising eyebrows is an onscreen kiss with the Om Shanti Om girl.
“To you it looks like a kiss but actually it is more of a cheating,” says Deepika.
“It is perfectly alright. It is a film for a family to watch,” adds Saif.
Following up the success of Jab We Met it might be a tough act for director Imtiaz Ali, but the man seems all set to take up the challenge.
