Sairam Shankar's 'Romeo' to release soon

Giving a breather to Sairam Shankar is 'Romeo'. "Puri rasina prema katha," reads the tag line. What makes this film unique is that PJ has written the dialogues. This is the first time that the director has written for a film not directed by him. The film is set in Verona, where Shakespeare's drama too was set. This is the only similarity between that Romeo and this modern day 'Romeo', the makers say.

The film has been wrapped up and the is expected to release soon. Sunil Kashyap of 'It's My Love Story' fame is composing music for the film. The film stars Sairam Shankar (well-known as Puri's brother) as the hero, while Adonika (new intro) is the heroine. It is being directed by Gopi Ganesh, a Puri protege.

If everything goes as per their plans, the producer (Valluripalli Ramesh) would like to release the film in this month itself. The film has been shot without much ado. All along, it has been thought that 'Yamaho Yamaha' is Sairam's forthcoming film.
