Bollywood musicians win Emmy nomination

CNN-IBN: Assuming that all of you know about Salim and Sulaiman's magical music in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and the fantastic music in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, we are here to talk with them about the Emmy nominations. First of all, congratulations from us. It's a big honour. It came as a surprise to us, but was it a surprise to you as well?

Sulaiman: Yes, it was.

CNN-IBN: It does not actually cater to the Indian audience but did you add the Salim Sulaiman touch and use any Indian instruments?

Sulaiman: That actually was the criteria in the production house selecting us. They had seen Chak De before. This was about saving the Bengal Tiger and the Wonder Pets travelling to Bengal and saving the Bengal Tiger. They wanted someone who could mix the operatic format and add a little of India to it.

CNN-IBN: Back here (in India) no one knows about it, could you tell us about the show?

Salim: Yes. It is actually a series called Wonder Pets. There's one pup, a turtle and a chick. These three pets get the task of saving various endangered animals. They go to the UAE to save the baby camel. Then they come to India to save the Bengal Tiger. The Bengal Tiger has a thorn in his paw. There is a moral about this about teamwork. There's a song that plays in the background that says, "What's going to work? Teamwork!"

CNN-IBN: Thank you so much and best of luck.
