Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan has launched the 'Being Human' pure gold coins which will be available at Gitanjali stores. All all in a bid to raise money for his charity Salman Khan Foundation that helps the under-privileged.
"There's no big deal to what I'm doing, it's just that people trust and people believe that this money is not going into my pocket instead it's improving somebody's life or saving a life. Then you should give to Being Human, if not them give it to a charitable trust of your choice or spend it on whatever you like," said Salman.
And supporting him in this mission was his usual entourage of family, friends and fans. One crazed fan bought 90 kgs of silver, as that is how much his icon weighs and Salman's brothers say it's no big deal.
"I know for a fact that there are times when people with expensive operations have come and Salman has really stood by them," said Salman's brother, actor Arbaaz Khan.
"He has taken Being Human with more passion than his career and it's a request to all his fans, every human that to please buy the coin and with the funds that are generated, I know from his heart he can help a lot of people," said Salman's brother, actor and fimmaker, Sohail Khan.
