Mumbai: Salman Khan has every reason to celebrate this Eid. With his latest release Jaan-e-Mann getting a fabulous response, the star has been chilling out at his residence with family and friends to rejoice the great festival.

Urmi Sahni: A very happy Eid to you Salman. How have the reactions been so far for Jaan-e-Mann, your latest film?

Salman Khan: They have been fantastic so far. A lot of people who don’t call up otherwise called up to say that it is a brilliant film. They say it’s fabulous and that we all have done really well in this movie.

Urmi Sahni: The film was released on Diwali and the festive week has been prolonged because of Eid. Do you think its going to affect the collections of your film?

Salman Khan: I think as much as it had to be affected, it has been affected already. Due to Diwali the opening was not so good. But people are now talking about this film.

Everybody is coming in to the theatres, going out buying tickets to watch it again. I think, people are liking this film. I usually do not publicise a bad film. If something does not suit my eye I tell people don’t watch it.

Urmi Sahni: Eid has always been celebrated big time at the Khan residence. We have always heard about it. Is there going to be something special this year as well?

Salman Khan: Just friends and family will be coming over. Ours is a huge family and we all have a lot of friends. They all come home and we party.

Urmi Sahni: What is your favourite part of the entire Eid celebrations?

Salman Khan: Sheer Maal is my favourite dish. We don’t make it throughout the year. But when mum makes Sheer Maal with mutton, it tastes really yum. She prepares for all the delicacies some 15-20 days prior to Eid.

Urmi Sahni: You have a lot of fun this Eid. Thank you so much for talking to us.

    Salman Khan: Thank you.
