Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan in his latest film Wanted has inspired hundreds of people across the country to fight the outlaws.

It seems that after watching Salman in an episode of TV series CID, his fans have decided to fight film piracy as well and support their favourite star.

In the Southern Film Industry, many fans are known to raid illegal video parlours and places where pirated CDs and DVDs are sold along with the police. This act in fact has helped curb movie piracy down south.

And now, after Salman Khan's Wanted, Bollywood fans have also adopted the same strategy. According to reports, on September 21, right after Khan's film released, his fans from Lokhandwala and Oshiwara in Mumbai along with the Police raided illegal video parlours, ransacked pirated CDs and DVDs and destroyed them.

Looks like Salman has finally helped bring film piracy under control with his charisma.
