New Delhi: The sultry lass is back in news again, yes we are talking about Sameera Reddy who has been making waves for her Kannada debut opposite 'Kiccha' Sudeep. Ask her about being the highest paid actress of Sandalwood, she replies, "Well, I am happy to work with Sudeep, he is a superb talent."
The actress who has worked in a versatile set up and several film industries tells, "I don't come with my nakhras (tantrums) on the sets. Although the working style in both South and North are different, I don't find it difficult to adapt because I try to get into their style of working."
Sameera who has been currently shooting in Bangalore, inaugurated a clinic named Guard Yourself that deals with Cervical cancer. On quizzing Reddy on her association with the cause, the actress said, "It has been just a year that I came to know about the origin of cervical cancer and how fatal it is. I was shocked that I was so ignorant about something that has been increasing in our country at an alarming rate. If a woman like me who is so well travelled and has worked with different kinds of people came to know about it recently, imagine the number of women who have absolutely no idea about it. This is a small noise we have made on the issue, but we will make an even bigger noise to spread the awareness. I would request all the women out there to go for periodic checkups and take preventive steps by taking the HPV vaccination, which will ensure that women do not get infected by the virus of Cervical cancer."

If the reports are to be believed then Sameera Reddy is the highest paid Kannada actress these days.
On her upcoming release 'Tezz', the actress said, "It was a memorable experience working in 'Tezz' as I got the opportunity to do a lot of action sequences. I learnt to ride bikes and in one instance I fell from the bike and bruised my leg." She further added, "I remember Ajay Devgan went on to say that Sameera is one of the heroes of the film and he refused to accept me as the heroine."
