New Delhi: Samsung has announced the launch of its new phone - the Samsung Galaxy Chat. Designed for socially-active users, the Samsung Galaxy Chat will be available from July starting in Spain and gradually rolled out to Europe, Latin America, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia at a competitive price point.
The Samsung Galaxy Chat runs Android 4.0, and has a 3-inch touchscreen with a full QWERTY keypad. The phone comes preloaded with a dedicated button for Samsung's ChatON messenger.
The phone will come engineered with a 850MHz Application processor. It sports a 2 megapixel rear camera. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 (b/g/n), USB 2.0 and Bluetooth technology v 3.0.
The Galaxy Chat has an internal memory of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It has a 1,200 mAh battery.
