Sana Khan, who plays Silk Smitha in the Malayalam flick 'Climax', is all excited for having bagged a dream role. "Being a part of such a project makes me elated. I feel lucky as biopics on yesteryear actors are rare in the film industry," smiles Sana.
The 'Silambattam' girl, however, admits that she is a bit nervous about her character in 'Climax'. "The role is a challenging one," she admits, adding that "it gives her the opportunity to prove her mettle. The movie showcases a different life of Silk Smitha, unknown to the world outside. Unlike 'The Dirty Picture' which portrayed her glamourous lifestyle, 'Climax' will give a glimpse of her hardships, her first break, her ecstatic and traumatic phases," she adds.
During her stint in modelling, Sana had the opportunity of endorsing a product alongside Shahrukh Khan. But the actress says she is concentrating only on movies.

Sana Khan, who plays Silk Smitha in the Malayalam flick \'Climax\', is all excited for having bagged a dream role.
So what is keeping Sana away from a Bollywood flick? Quick comes her answer, "It's tough to manage Bollywood and film industries of the south simultaneously. One needs to be size zero and well toned in Bollywood whereas industries here prefer a bubbly, innocent girl," she says.
Sana was recently dragged into a controversy for her remarks on south Indian heroines. "I was asked about the lifestyle of Mumbai actresses to which I replied that the lifestyle of actresses was the same everywhere. I believe that it's unfair to say that an actress drinks or smokes only in a particular section of the industry. My statement was misinterpreted," explains Sana, who takes controversies and gossips in her stride.
Sana, who has acted in all the south Indian languages, says she was comfortable with all her co-stars and technicians. "When it comes to choosing a project script, it's the director, co-star and production company that matters to me," she says.
