And it’s been celebration time in Rajasthan, ever since the news of Sandeep Acharya becoming Indian Idol 2 poured in. People came out on the streets burning fire-crackers and splashed colours at each other.
"This is a proud moment for the people of Rajasthan," an ardent fan of Acharya said.
Along with several other awards, Acharya also got a music contract worth Rs 1 crore with Sony Entertainment.
Though Sony’s Indian Idol 2: Agla Kaun is over, for Sandeep Acharya it’s only the beginning.
