Osaka: Second-seeded pair of India's Sania Mirza and American Vania King crashed out of the doubles quarterfinals of the $22,0000 Japan Open tennis in Osaka (Japan) on Thursday.
Sania-King went down 4-6, 2-6 to French Julie Coin and Mathilde Johansson.
Sania, however, is still alive in the singles, where she plays second-seeded Frenchwoman Marion Bartoli.
