New Delhi: Sanjay Dutt is making the best possible use of his time outside the confines of the jail. After visiting the Shirdi temple, Sanjay made his way to Vaishno Devi shrine on Monday. And guess what? Controversies followed.
Questions are now being raised over the VIP treatment extended to him by the Jammu and Kashmir government during the actor's visit to Vaishno Devi shrine.
Trouble seems to be Sanjay Dutt's middle name. Out of jail on bail Dutt is in Jammu en route to Vaishnodevi. He is traveling with family and friends to seek blessings, he said, for everyone in his life.
But what's causing the trouble is the state hospitality extended to the star in trouble. Dutt was seen traveling in a government-owned Ambassador car, complete with red beacon and alighting from it at his hotel.
The sympathies of the Jammu and Kashmir government, from the looks of it, are very much with Munnabhai.
This after all the hoopla over Dutt's handshakes with Pune policemen when he was leaving the Yerawada jail.
Deputy Chief Minister RR patil quickly ordered a probe into the matter, resulting in suspension for one constable and show cause notices against eight others. Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said he was surprised at the speedy suspension order.
While the Shiv Sena and the BJP said the police should have been equally speedy to prosecute Minister of State for Labour Baba Siddiqui, whose own jaadu ki jhappi went unpunished. Life outside prison is turning out to be unexpectedly sticky for Sanjay Dutt. The blessings, it seems, are very much in order.
