Satyamev Jayate app launched for iOS

New Delhi: The official app for Satyamev Jayate, a TV series featuring Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has been released for iOS devices including iPhone, iPad and iPod. The app will users stream songs and watch videos. With each episode, the app will be updated with the new song and video showcased during that episode.

The app is available on iTunes for $1.99 or Rs 110 approximately and has been developed by Hungama Digital Media Entertainment. Viewers who wish to donate can do so through integrated Airtel mobile money service.

Android version of the application is also in the works and will be released soon. The application has got good level of social integration and allows viewers to share content with their friends and communities with a single click. Those interested can also follow the official Satyamev Jayate Twitter timeline.

With each episode, the app will be updated with the new song and video showcased during that episode.

The app is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch (3rd generation), iPod Touch (4th generation) and iPad. However, it requires iOS 4.0 or above.

Satyamev Jayate is currently being aired on Star Plus and Star World and addressed pressing issues like dowry, child sexual abuse and female foeticide.
