New Delhi: Low cost airlines have given wings to millions of train travelling Indians. Now you can book your low cost air ticket, a hotel room and a cab with a single SMS.
US based travel engine Mobissimo is tapping into the booming Indian economy.
The sharp surge in air traffic has compelled travel specific Internet search engines to put India on their radar screens.
Mobissimo has tied up with online travel agency makemytrip.com to facilitate all your travel arrangements not just over the Internet but also from your mobile.
Mobissimo has brought in Kingfisher, Air Deccan, Spice Jet, Go Air and Air India Express, all the low cost airlines under its umbrella to make life easier for low cost airline travellers.
Sanjay Kumar, Associate VP, Marketing & Planning, SpiceJet says, "Low cost industry has already seen more than 30 per cent of market share and now very soon we hope to capture 50 per cent of the airline market share.”
While travelling you can also swap notes with fellow travellers on the travel related blogs and chatting forums Mobissmo plans to setup.
