Sequel to Mr India in the pipeline

Mumbai: The news of a sequel to Mr India has already created a buzz in the industry.

The invisible man, Hindi cinema's first superhero, Mr India remains a favourite with many Hindi movie lovers.

Now 2 decades after its release, there's a sequel in the pipeline for this Anil Kapoor - Sridevi starer.

Catching up with the original creator of the flick, Shekhar Kapur, few questions were asked about what could be expected out of the new Mr India.

Kapur said, "My first though was Mugambo ka kya hoga (Whats gonna happen to Mugambo)?. Amrish puri is not there so who will be Mogambo."

However, a more disappointing news for all the fans of the original is that Shekhar himself will not be directing the sequel.

"I hope its someone younger, enthusiastic, and can take it beyond the original," quipped Kapur.

Though Shekhar is currently busy with his highly ambitious international project Paani', he expects only the very best from the new Mr India.

Kapur said," Oh its gonna be great."

We're sure all Mr India fans will be hoping for the same.
